Nature-inspired materials and colors blend with stainless-steel and glass surfaces for a fresh take on Old World style.
The crown molding is accented with a cherry rope inlay that repeats the color of the island. Benjamin Moore Aura paint in "Angelica" covers the walls. Arched valances trimmed with wood-bead fringe soften the room's linear qualities. Valance fabric and bead fringe are from Calico Corners.
A small walk-in pantry closet was added in a corner, putting previously wasted floor space to good use. An easy-to-reach warming drawer by Wolf Appliance sits directly under the island cooktop.
