Eclectic Kids' Rooms Joann Kandrac : Designer Portfolio

The design of this room was inspired by the wants of a 10-year-old girl and the need for her parents to have a room she could grow with. The "Tween Fun" style was created with lots of colors, painted furniture and custom canvas art. Designer Tip: Just because kids are little doesn't mean their light fixtures need to be small, too. The center chandelier from Ikea and the bedside lights from Natural Light were oversized but perfectly scaled for this large room.
