The brick veneer wall was the builders idea; for incorporating the brick exterior into the interior. This is a great remodeling idea as well...the door to the right opens into a wine closet with uncorking counter and chiller. The door to the left opens to a shallow niche- deep enough only for horizontal bottle racks. The effect offers a lot of 'bang for the buck'.
