Inner Peace

For a tranquil outdoor experience inside, make a water garden in a quiet corner. Fill a watertight piece of pottery (test it outside first) with water. Float cut flowers and candles on the water. Blooms with flat undersides and waxy leaves tend to ride the waves better and last longer (like the dahlias shown here). Floating candles can be purchased at craft and home stores.
