This project was designed in conjunction with Tamarack Homes and is a beacon of energy efficiency. An average energy consumption of less then $100.00 a month for utilities. Tamarack utilized energy efficient, airtight building practices and new HVAC technologies. Most of the furnishings and accessories came from local vendors, some used reclaimed or FSC woods. We had recycled content, cork floors, formaldehyde-free cabinetry, etc. The idea behind these projects is that you can be sustainable at an attainable value and still have a beautifully designed home.
