Open Contemporary Living Room by Margaret Carter

This long narrow living space in an apartment at the Ritz in downtown DC called for a mix of bold shapes and geometrics to create the illusion of a wider space. The blend of modern and retro creates a contemporary, hip room. I am most proud of the furniture arrangement which is versatile enough for a large party and comfortable and intimate for a small family to spend time together.
