Sunny Contemporary Kitchen by Jessica Helgerson

This project is a phased remodel of a 1950s ranch house in the southwest Portland hills. The house sits on a steep lot, with the front door on the upper level and the lower level opening out to a beautiful south-facing garden. The upper floor remodel included the kitchen, dining room, living room and hall.

The new kitchen has a generous island as well as an inviting breakfast nook, with a custom table of our design, built by our friend Kari at merkled.
