Airy Transitional Dining Room by Stacy and Brett Carlson

The goal of the project was to create a spectacular room while using some of the client's existing pieces. Because it is a dining room, I wanted the room to have a special feel at night. We added the wall scones and the fun coral mirrors to give the room a sparkle. We slipcovered the existing dining chairs in a neutral with a splash of coral. We recovered the parson chairs in a cut velvet stripe. The wallpaper is beautiful Nina Campbell floral. We added a few elements of fun with the giraffe print bench and the gold metallic grasscloth on the ceiling. The drapes are also done in a lovely green Osborne and Little fabric that has a hint of metallic. These are banded in a fabulous greek key trim. We were able to find a fantastic chandelier that emulates the curves of the rug design.
