Why We Love It
Because of jet-black-painted kitchen cabinets that look like they came straight out of a library. Weathered nickel hardware and champagne-silver painted accents on the cabinets give the room a touch of glitz. Other details are simple, but gorgeous. Slabs of richly veined Calcutta marble cover the backsplashes, the 12-foot-long island, and the perimeter countertops. The rich brown flooring is Cumaru (Brazilian Teak) with a custom stain.
