Designer Laura Glen wanted to make sure the room had a peaceful but not sleepy look for her space in the Junior League of Boston Showhouse. “If you live in a northern climate, it’s important to bounce light around,” she says. “The colors I chose for this space are invigorating but soft enough not to be overstimulating.”
