Election Day is almost here! It’s easy to forget, amidst all the political hoopla, that November 4 is one special day to be an American. I definitely don’t take my right to vote for granted. Whenever I cast a ballot in the voting booth, I always get a certain rush of patriotic excitement. Because beyond the red versus blue, conservative versus liberal, Republicans versus Democrats, winners and losers, there’s the red, white and blue and what those stars and stripes stand for. Here are 20 finds from the Houzz Marketplace that celebrate the day we exercise our voice in our government. Don’t forget to vote! — Jen from The Haystack Needle
American Flag$20Sure, this is one cool (and affordable) painted American flag to hang on the wall. But it’s also an authentic piece of salvaged barn wood. Now that’s “made in America” at its best.
Abraham Lincoln ‘Whatever You Are’ Quote Art Print$188 $225.00Hang up some wise words from one of the most celebrated presidents. I like this simple typewriter-style font for President Lincoln’s quote.
‘Don’t Forget to Vote Today’ Print$19.98This kitschy print looks like it’s from the era of the old wartime ads and Uncle Sam. And it’s a simple reminder to get out and vote.

‘Washington Votes in Funny Hats’ Print$19.98Voting sure looks different now with levered machines and computers to do the counting. This black and white print celebrates the old-school ballot box (and the days of fancy hats).
Bronze-Finish Abraham Lincoln Bust$34.99I’m all for whimsical decor in my home, but sometimes it’s nice to bust out something a little more serious. This Abraham Lincoln bronze bust would look mighty stately in a bookcase.
William Hogarth Soliciting Votes Premium Archival Print$34.99 $49.00This archival print is an affordable way to get an Election Day look. I love this scene of people soliciting votes back in the days when the country was founded.

Bronzed President George Washington Standing Triumphantly Statue$39.98George Washington was the first man to wear the presidential hat. Even if you’re not a political junkie, I could see this stately bronze statue as a traditional accent in the living room.

Stars & Stripes Pouf, Round$160 $211.00This flag ottoman celebrates the stars and stripes pattern of the flag. Plus, it looks like a comfy spot for putting up your feet.
Green Steel Mailbox$26.16 $39.24For anyone who mails in a ballot, here’s an upgrade on the ol’ mailbox. I’m a big fan of this traditional steel design with its red flag.
