This week there was everything including the kitchen sink: cats having fun climbing up walls, fitting seating into small kitchens, antiquing for the fun of it, giving up on lawn mowing, figuring out how to adjust to an empty nest, a quiz thrown in just for fun and more.

A serendipitous meeting between an architect and a boatbuilder, Texas history combined with German Sunday houses, an old oak tree, a sleeping porch, a windmill, selling a Georgia O’Keefe painting to pay for the home … I enjoyed not only touring this beautiful home but hearing the wonderful story behind it. I’ll just say it: It’s one of my favorite Houzz Tours of all time.
