Decorating can be fun, but it can be extra challenging when you have small children to consider. Nara Ceramic Table, Goldenrod - $195 With no sharp corners and a whole lotta shine, this is a great piece for a family-friendly home. My favorite feature is the brilliant lacquered color, which is also family friendly.
Brigitte 1-Drawer Side Table, Gray - $767 You don’t have to sacrifice glamour for a a kid-friendly home. I adore this gorgeous table’s oval shape, lovely color and useful drawer. I will definitely be keeping this one in mind for client projects.
City Slicker Neon Pink Side Table - $199 This is one for when the kiddos are past the wobbly phase. It’s the perfect way to spiff up a kids’ room or simply add fun to another room. I just completely love this glossy cube table, which is also available in navy or white.
Blake Raffia Side Table, Natural - $495 This sophisticated side table is one of my favorites. It’s wrapped in woven raffia, giving those sharp corners a bit of protection.
Moroccan Table, English Lilac - $249 I love the shape of Moroccan tables. This is one of my favorites because it has a modern style with smooth lines and comes in fabulous, bold colors. I just used this gray version in a client project.
Plum & Bow Round Dipped Side Table - $89 This paint-dipped table has a fun look and is versatile; it can be a stool or a little side table. I like that it is right on trend and comes at a great price.
Izmir Side Table - $855 A good sign that a furniture piece is kid friendly is when the description reads, “Can also be used as a stool.” Because we all know that it’s going to get used as a stool anyway! (At least at my house it is.)
Barret Tray Side Table - $410 Bring Mommy a beverage, would you, darling? How perfectly adorable and practical is this side table? The removable bar tray is my favorite feature.
Driftwood Side Table - $499 These are round and durable for the kiddos but soft, moody and rustic for the adults. I could see them used in a home that is filled with (washable!) whites galore.
Assembly Home Wire Table, Bright Green - $49 This wire table is genius. Bright color choices are a plus, but I think that the best part is that it’s lightweight. It is easy to move around the room to the perfect location.
Roulette End Table - $1,550 Before you get this beauty, be sure your child fits in and out of it — because even I want to crawl through it! I love the idea of encouraging more play in the home — and with items that happen to be gorgeous.

Hugo Leather Patchwork Ottoman - $960 Soft and stainproof, hides are a great solution when it comes to decorating with kids. I am always impressed by how well they repel stains.
