Guest Picks: Pretty Packaging for Homemade Holiday Treats
With Christmas coming up, I know I’ll be spending plenty of time in the kitchen preparing gifts for friends and family. Still, I’m not as great with presentation as with taste, so I need some help making my gifts look especially fancy and cute. Depending on the gift and the recipient, you may need a disposable box, a reusable and not easily breakable plate, or something classy that can become part of the gift. I’ve found a range of options for your cookie platters, your almond bark, your mother’s famous banana bread and more. Maybe looking at some of these ideas will give you ideas for new homemade gifts, like flavored salts or homemade syrups, so that you’re not just passing back and forth cookies with your neighbors.
