Here's a photo of my tiny San Francisco kitchen — a grand total of 25 square feet. There's really only room for one person to work in here, and it's lacking any little luxuries (including a dishwasher). But we've made it our own with some chalkboard paint, colorful accents and plenty of worn wood cutting boards.
