THIS MIDCENTURY MODERN HOME WAS ONCE state-of-the-art, but had strayed from a uniform design aesthetic over the course of several updates. The new owners desired to restore a complete sense of mid-century design harmony.

We gutted the house, building out a new, flowing open-floor plan and adding several extensions, including an expanded kitchen area complemented by informal dining and living rooms. The house is again state-of-the-art with all new hardware and appliances. The front door hinges to allow a 360–degree turning radius.

The sleek and simple design is meant to feature the homeowner’s extensive art collection.
