Upstairs, the old "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" adage prevailed. The only substantial change was a renovation of the children's bathroom. The lilac-hued walls and delicate floral-patterned blinds belie the fact that three young children-two of them boys-put it through a rigorous daily workout.
