It was important to me to celebrate that unique "Good Life" spirit inherent to the Vineyard Vines brand, and I have to say this was one of my most entertaining yet challenging assignments. I've long associated the brand with its trompe l'oeil neck ties and bathing suits, but I wasn't quite sure how that would translate to a modern coastal lodging. But once I had the bolts of fabric in my hands, I was amazed at how beautifully the two entities came together through interior design. Influenced by the unique heritage of these locations, we infused the suites with a preppy chic touch that played off the natural beauty of the seaside surroundings. The furnishings, accessories, and finishes exude a true vacation house feel, reflecting a mix of vibrant textures and styles with the patterns and beach-bound vibes of the Vineyard Vines brand. My favorite touches are the pillows and bed bolsters made from board short material and the window shade edgings fashioned from Vineyard Vines belts.
