The gilt stand holding the tree was a "find" on one of my buying trips. It was a rather dull grey and I added the gilt to give it a warm holiday glow. I encourage my clients to always be on the lookout for a special item that, with a little loving care and perhaps a bit of Brie Wax or paint will find new life.
